Kavanagh’s SuperValu Donegal Town has unveiled their newly revamped store, after a substantial €2.5 million investment.
The store, which reopened on 20th June, currently employs 60 people and promises an enhanced shopping experience with freshly baked bread from their in-store Bakery, new grab-and-go deli options, and expanded ranges including Donnybrook Fair, SuperValu Kitchen Range, premium Italian and eastern European foods, and The Happy Pear. Plus, an extended selection of eco-friendly products, and new Italian pasta, meats, and sauces.
Supporting local remains at the heart of what Kavanagh’s SuperValu Donegal Town does. Explore the Taste of Local area featuring products from O’Donnells Bread, Inish Foods, and Morans Mega Jam Ltd.
Sustainability has been a key focus during the renovations. With energy-efficient refrigeration and LED lighting, the store will achieve a 20% reduction in energy consumption and a 47% cut in carbon emissions.
Kavanagh’s SuperValu has been a proud supporter of the local community for 30 years. They’ve partnered with local charities and teams including Donegal Hospice, Solace Centre, Four Masters GAA, and Donegal Town FC.
