The newest ALDI store has opened on Roches Street, Limerick City, which is the first store in Limerick city centre for the retailer.
Led by Store Manager Ian Dawson, this new store is ALDI’s 164th in Ireland and fourth in Co. Limerick. Since opening their first Limerick store at Childers Road in 2006, ALDI have invested over €45 million in capital in the county and currently employ more than 130 people in Limerick.
This new store will feature ALDI’s award-winning Project Fresh layout, including wide aisles and electronic shelf labels. As part of a nationwide trial, the Roches Street store will also feature an in-store bakery and nine self-service checkouts.
